“Y” Ravine Cemetery, Beaumont-Hamel, Somme. 1 mile S of the village within the Newfoundland Memorial Park. The village was attacked and reached on July 1st 1916 by units of the 29th Division (which included the Royal Newfoundland Regiment). Records 328 UK., and 38 Newfoundland burials and also 61 special memorials.
