Knightsbridge Cemetery, Mesnil-Martinsart, Somme. 2 miles N of the village. Begun during the Battles of the Somme 1916 and used by fighting units until German retreat in February 1917; again used from March to July 1918. Records 425 UK., 39 Newfld., 18 NZ., 1 Aust., and 65 Unknown burials.

Harold Baldwin Hudson, Thomas Hooten Hill, Sydney Herbert Agate, Lieuts Bartle Laurie Stuart Frere, R ichard Harvey Boys, John Brodie and William Arthur Turnbull all of 4th Bedfordshire Regiment died 13 November 1916. Battalion in rear of assault towards Beaucourt as part of 190th Brigade, 63rd (Royal Naval) Division.
